The Chemistry Department offers a wide variety of majors, pre-professional pathways, and minors for undergraduate students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five of our major programs meet the guidelines established and approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS)<\/a>. Pre-Professional Pathways<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Chemistry Department advises students in several pre-professional sequences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These sequences are not degree programs. Rather, they are intended to prepare students for careers in medicine, veterinary work, dentistry, forensics<\/a> (PDF), and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
