{"id":12201,"date":"2024-10-23T13:26:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-23T18:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/academics\/?page_id=12201"},"modified":"2024-10-23T13:26:45","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T18:26:45","slug":"transfer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/academics\/colleges\/science-engineering\/chemistry-department\/transfer\/","title":{"rendered":"Transfer to the Chemistry Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you plan ahead, transferring to WSU\u2019s Chemistry program from a community or technical college will be a smooth process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep these things in mind while planning for your transfer to a WSU chemistry program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To earn a chemistry degree at WSU, you must take chemistry courses during every year of your undergraduate education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finishing in 2 additional years is possible if you\u2019ve completed the recommended chemistry courses before transferring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideally, a transfer student will have 2 years\u2019 worth of chemistry classes completed before transferring (1 year of general chemistry and 1 year of organic chemistry).
