General Engineering: Electronics Concentration<\/div>\n

In the Electronics concentration, you\u2019ll use physics, electronics, and electromagnetism to engineer solutions for the problems of today.<\/p>\n

You could design things such as small-pocket devices, medical instruments, or utility-scale renewable energy.<\/p>\n

General Engineering: Industrial Statistics Concentration<\/div>\n

In the Industrial Statistics concentration, you\u2019ll use physics, data science, and statistics to manage materials, devices, information, and even people to design a more efficient workplace. <\/p>\n

You could review processes to uncover wastefulness, create efficient ways to manufacture products, analyze production problems, create quality control measures, or work with clients to streamline production schedules.<\/p>\n

In the General Engineering major, you will have a hands-on experience with a balance of understanding the theoretical background and applying what you\u2019ve learned with equipment that engineers use in the lab and office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also anticipate close relationships with faculty, collaboration with students, and interactions with mentors in the field as you use what you\u2019ve learned to design solutions to engineering problems throughout your undergraduate career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
