Ryan White is a Professor in Winona State’s Marketing Department. He is also the Marketing Department Chair, the Director of the Strauss Center for Sales Excellence, and the coach for the WSU Sales Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryan was awarded the 2021-2022 and 2023-2024 COB Create Your More Faculty of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Research Interests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Ryan’s research examines the complete service system spanning from employees through customer evaluations and firm performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        By leveraging theories of social exchange, governance, and social influence, his research focuses on explaining the dynamics of the customer experience and the subsequent impact on customer relationships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Specific research efforts focus on explaining breakdowns in the satisfaction–loyalty relationship, managing the behavior and measuring the impact of boundary spanning employees, and examining the effects of alternative\/novel sources of word-of-mouth on service purchase intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
