class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Majors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students working towards one license can finish within 4 years, depending on their course load.&nbsp;If you decide to double major, it may take more than 4 years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/academics\/colleges\/education\/program-admission\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"7106\">admitted to the Teacher Education program<\/a>, you\u2019ll take Practicum A class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>In this major, you\u2019ll learn how to teach students with disabilities in K\u2013grade 12, including kids with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>developmental cognitive disabilities<\/li>\n<li>specific learning disabilities<\/li>\n<li>emotional and behavioral disorders<\/li>\n<li>autism spectrum teacher for students with developmental cognitive disabilities in K\u2013grade 12.<\/p>\n<p>With this major, you\u2019ll be able to give these students a quality education that meets their unique class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We also offer a Special Education minor that&#8217;s open to students across all majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll learn about inclusive educational practices, behavior management strategies, and the laws and policies shaping special education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This minor is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to support individuals with diverse learning needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program will especially benefit future teachers from all disciplines and even related service majors\u2014like social work, nursing, and criminal
