Because technology is an integral part of 21st-century creativity, our studios feature the latest art-making and production equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The department will move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art home in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/about\/news-events\/center-for-interdisciplinary-collaboration-engagement-learning\/\">The&nbsp;Center for Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Engagement and Learning&nbsp;(CICEL)<\/a>. CICEL will be a sustainable, carbon-neutral building designed to offer our students a world-class facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design Computer Lab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Design Computer Lab is equipped with six-core and quad-core Mac Pro units, Wacom Cintiq 22HD tablets and high-end iMac units.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each computer station includes the latest versions of design, motion, digital imaging, web, sound, video and animation software.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design Production Lab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Design Production Lab is equipped with open plan workspaces for advanced prototyping and production.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our cutting-edge production equipment is available for student use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The latest digital press with 5th channel capabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3D printers for sculptural and prototyping work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>42\u201d large format ink-jet printer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>24\u201d laser cutter and engraver with rotary capabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>23\u201d vinyl cutter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat press<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sewing and textile production tools&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A wide selection of hardware tools&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facility is equipped with eight computer stations with dual monitor capabilities running state-of-the-art software to provide design students with access to the latest industry tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photography Studio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Photography Studio features professional photography equipment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High-end SLR cameras for each photography student&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Large format printers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fully equipped dark room for analog photography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Studio lighting and production equipment&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desktop computers with full production software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Painting, Drawing, Sculpting &amp;
