The group\u2019s purpose is to reward academic achievement while providing more opportunities to grow in the field of Communication.<\/p>\n<p>You will be invited to join Winona State&#8217;s Nu Pi chapter if you meet the eligibility requirements:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Be a Communication major or minor<\/li>\n<li>Have completed 60 credit hours, 12 of which must be communication studies courses<\/li>\n<li>Have a 3.25 GPA in the communication studies courses they have taken<\/li>\n<li>Be enrolled full-time at WSU<\/li>\n<li>Be in good academic standing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Members of Lambda Pi Eta participate in activities with Communication Studies faculty and the Communication Club, as well as conduct their own activities and meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Since Lambda Pi Eta is an academic honorary society, it looks great on a resum\u00e9, can help you network with other alumni, and can advance your connections for future education or careers in the communication field.<\/p>\n<p>Contact the Lambda Pi Eta Advisor Jamie Matson at 507.457.5512 for more information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tutoring Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A speech tutor is available to work with you throughout the entire speech making process:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose a topic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outline main points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Final rehearsal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All other details in between<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The tutor is a friendly upper-classman student who has successfully completed the public speaking course.
