She worked in the film industry in Detroit and Los Angeles before heading back to East Lansing to get her MA in English, also from MSU, in 2014. Danielle received her PhD in English from Binghamton University in 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research areas include transnational film studies, industry studies, decolonial studies, feminism, and neoliberalism.
