{"id":9742,"date":"2024-11-13T11:48:30","date_gmt":"2024-11-13T17:48:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/academics\/?page_id=9742"},"modified":"2024-11-13T11:48:31","modified_gmt":"2024-11-13T17:48:31","slug":"andrea-wood","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/academics\/colleges\/liberal-arts\/english-department\/faculty-staff\/andrea-wood\/","title":{"rendered":"Andrea Wood"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Andrea Wood is Full Professor of Film and Media Studies, and she is an affiliated faculty member in the Women\u2019s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Wood completed her BA at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and her MSc in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh. After taking a one-year hiatus from her studies to teach English in Tokyo, Japan, she returned to the United States and completed a PhD at the University of Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was a Marion L.
