Here are key resources to help guide students through their application and decision process at Winona State University.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n                                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                <div class=\"panel__main\">\n            \n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    \n<div id=\"\" class=\"panel panel--relative panel--purple\">\n    <div class=\"panel__container\">                    <div class=\"panel__header\">\n                <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                                    <div id= \"admissions-requirements\" class=\"h2\">Admissions Requirements<\/div>\n                                                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                <div class=\"panel__main\">\n            \n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">First Year Students<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-2\">Transfer Students<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-3\">Graduate Students<\/button>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-content\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">First Year Students<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>High school students with a 3.0 GPA (on a scale of 4.0) or a class rank in the top 50% of their graduating class will be guaranteed admission to WSU.<\/p>\n<p>If your high school uses weighted GPAs on the official transcripts, we&#8217;ll use these as well.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Transfer Students<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Transfer students who have completed at least 24 credits at a regionally accredited college or university with a 2.4 GPA or higher will be admitted.<\/p>\n<p>Students with less than 24 college credits will need to submit their high school transcripts or GED documentation as well.<\/p>\n<p>WSU-Rochester is a degree-completion campus, so students need at least 60 credits to enter these programs.<\/p>\n<p>They may be referred to Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) or a Transfer Pathways program to meet the minimum credit criteria.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Graduate Students<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) to be accepted into the School of Graduate Studies.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to WSU Graduate Studies is the first step.<\/p>\n<p>Students must also apply for Admission to Candidacy for their desired academic program.<\/p>\n<p>Each program has varying requirements and some require GRE test scores.<\/p>\n<p>Consult the academic department for more details.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who don&#8217;t meet these requirements are still encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Admissions team will individually review applications to determine a student&#8217;s potential success at WSU based on the strength of GPA and their academic progression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"application-fee-waiver\">Application Fee Waiver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s a $20 application fee.
