Write a Personal Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tell us more about yourself through a personal statement (2 pages max):&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>why WSU Graduate Studies is your institution of choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an overview of your graduate and\/or career goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any evidence of preparation for graduate school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This written statement should also include an explanation for factors that affected your undergraduate performance.<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2. Gather 2 Letters of Recommendation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ask for at least 2 letters of recommendation. These letters should demonstrate your ability to succeed at a graduate level.<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3. Add Extra Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If grades have improved, send updated transcript or recent grade report. Any additional recommendations or documentation related to health or personal circumstances is optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These should be further evidence to support your appeal request.<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4. Wait for Your Appeal Decision&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The appeals process can take about 4 weeks.
