About Us

The Watkins and Weber Galleries at Winona State are run by the Gallery Coordinator in conjunction with the Art and Design department. Gallery policy and the annual exhibition schedule is determined by the Gallery Committee, comprised of faculty and staff.

The galleries provide 8–10 internships to students each semester. Half the interns develop promotional materials, including a postcard, digital and analogue posters, vinyl logos and a six-foot banner for each exhibition. The other half of the interns work with the gallery coordinator to assist with installations, gallery sitting and social media updates.

Artists interested in exhibiting in the Watkins Gallery can email a proposal, CV and 15-20 images to rboulay@winona.edu. The exhibition schedule is created late in the fall semester.
