The Athletic Training program at Winona State is a nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

Board of Certification Pass Rates

100% Pass the First Time

WSU students have been very successful in passing the Board of Certification (BOC) examination on the first attempt since the program’s inception. Over the past three years (2015-2017) we have achieved a 100% first time pass rate with 32 out of 32 students passing the exam. Program Goals and Outcomes

The WSU Athletic Training program is committed to providing the best educational experience to the students accepted and enrolled in our professional degree program. In order to ensure program effectiveness multiple points of assessment data are gathered to evaluate the success of the curriculum, the clinical experiences and our students.
