The partnership between Winona Public Schools and WSU offers children and families a unique educational opportunity within an elementary school setting. Third grade buddies, kindergarten connectors, school lyceum presentations, and weekly story time in the Media Center are examples of the collaboration between Pre-K and elementary classrooms. Intentional work between teachers seamlessly bridges transitions between early childhood and elementary classrooms.

The WSU Children’s Center-Madison Elementary program is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and is nationally accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children).
