Help Celebrate the Class of 2020

It's going to take all of us coming together to co-create a meaningful virtual celebration for our graduating class.

Here's the plan and how each of us can do our part. Please take a few minutes this weekend to create and submit your contribution to the Class of 2020 Virtual Celebration.

We will Celebrate! Together.

Class of 2020 Virtual Celebration

While we are not able to gather in person for our official commencement ceremony on campus as planned on May 8, 2020, we can and we will come together to celebrate the Class of 2020 in the best way we can.

We’re inviting our graduates, campus community, friends and family to come together for a one-of-a-kind graduation celebration.

President Scott Olson will transport us back to campus and address the graduating class from McCown Gymnasium, followed by the Class of 2020 student speakers delivering their speeches from their homes.

We will also premiere a commemorative video made for and by the Winona State Class of 2020.

It's an online Virtual Celebration, including a Facebook watch party on WSU’s Facebook page.

Here we can view the virtual celebration and pay tribute to our grads, together.
