Alumni House
Planning a trip to Winona? The Alumni House provides a friendly housing option for Winona State’s alumni and friends.
Located just one block off campus, the Alumni House is convenient for anyone attending University events.
The house offers 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 guests, a first floor living room, dining room, and kitchen. The first floor is also home to the WSU Retiree Center and is wheelchair accessible.
Housing accommodations may be available for people with limited mobility upon request.
Rates are $35/room/night + tax.

The Alumni House does not have a 24/7 desk operation, but the Alumni House Assistants reply quickly to inquiries (email messages or voice mails). For same-day requests, please contact us before you make your reservation.
If you would like to reserve the 1st floor facilities with your overnight request, please include that information in your initial reservation inquiry.
There are four guest bedrooms on the second floor of the Alumni House.

Each room includes bed(s), closet, alarm clock and TV. Linens are provided (sheets, towels and washcloths).
There is a common bathroom on 2nd floor for all guests to use. Guests are responsible for their own toiletries.
Meeting and events can be up to 25 attendees.
All meeting/event guests must comply with the Terms of the Alumni House. It is the responsibility of the event coordinator to communicate those terms to all those attending.

The Alumni House is property of Winona State University and therefore all WSU policies apply to Alumni House guests.
Guests are free to use the kitchen, dining room, living room and computer in the kitchen. Each guest bedroom has an internet connection but there are no printing, faxing, or copying capabilities.
Guests using the kitchen should wash dishes and wipe down tables/counters after each use.
Winona State University is an alcohol and tobacco free campus. This includes the Alumni House.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to reserve rooms.
We do not have equipment to accommodate the housing of young children and that the house is not child-proofed for their safety.
For liability issues, we cannot allow guests under the age of 5. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Refunds take 4-6 weeks to process and require a W9 form to be filled out which will require your social security number.
Please limit reservations if you are not certain you will be staying or not comfortable giving this information to WSU. There will be no refund for a cancellation received less than 24 hours in advance.
Winona State University is not responsible for any lost or stolen items from the Alumni House. This includes anything that may be left behind by guests.
Guests should keep their belongings in their room during their stay.
