Scrubs Day Camp

At Scrubs Camp, students will learn from healthcare professionals about multiple career opportunities in healthcare. Join us and explore healthcare careers: from becoming a doctor or nurse to finding other careers you may not have thought of, such as radiologist, surgical technician, medical lab sciences, veterinarian, emergency medical services, and many more!

This camp is a day camp and will be hosted June 29-30, 2021 from 8am-4pm on Winona State University's campus. The cost for this camp will be $120. Scholarships are available to those who have unique financial circumstances or are Free/Reduced Lunch states.

Scrubs Online

Through Scrubs Online, you will explore upwards of 30+ career opprtunities in healthcare. Learn at your own pace through six required modules to understand some of our most needed healthcare jobs in Minnesota. Meet with healthcare professionals as well as college/university faculty to better understand specific healthcare jobs and the education needed, and ask questions in real time so you can have the most up-to-date information on your interested career. Hone-in on professional skills such as resume writing, social media and online professionalism, and budgeting in the real world.

Students who complete Scrubs Online will receive a micro-credential through Winona State University by completing the required modules and presenting a final research project that will walk students through their dream career by discovering college educational processes through additional career steps/specialty fields.

All students who complete the online program will receive a micro-credential from Winona State University that can be included on resume's, as well as a discounted rate to attend an in-person Scrubs Camp.


Scrubs Residential Camp

Scrubs Camp/High School is a week-long Residential Camp for students entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2020 and wishing to explore careers in healthcare. It is a fun way to learn about a growing field, make new friends, and experience college life!

Participants live in a traditional residence hall on Winona State University's main campus and take part in a variety of activities related to healthcare. This program is co-sponsored by HealthForce MN, a Center of Excellence focusing on healthcare innovation, diversity, and learning.

The $480 registration fee covers all housing, meals, scrubs, and instruction/programs/field trips.

Full scholarships are available to students who demonstrate financial need. Students must fill out a scholarship application first. If the scholarship is granted, they will be informed and automatically registered for camp.
