Guide to Supporting Safe and Inclusive Campus Climates

The Guide to Supporting Safe and Inclusive Campus Climates was developed by a Minnesota State system-wide task force that included statewide student groups. It was reviewed by Minnesota State’s General Counsel and by System HR staff. The Guide doesn’t stand by itself, but it outlines the rights of our students and may be a resource to some.

The Guide was updated Sept. 7, 2017 to include an updated FAQ on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) rescission memo issued Sept. 5, 2017 by the Department of Homeland Security, along with additional external resource links related to this administrative action. The guide will continually be updated to reflect any new developments with DACA and other campus climate issues.
