Undergraduate Major & Minor

Make an impact on future business professionals by becoming a Business Education teacher. Students will teach various levels—from middle school and high school, to 2-year colleges and corporate settings.

As a Business Education student, you’ll take a variety of classes that cover topics such as computer technology, business administration, administrative information systems, general education, methods of teaching, and professional education.

With a minor in Training & Development, you’ll learn how to design and deliver training for adults that improves employees’ skills and boosts workplace moral.

Graduate Certificates

The Multicultural Education Certificate Program (MECP) prepares professionals to work more effectively with diverse clientele. You’ll have the opportunity to both analyze your own cultural experiences and examine how services can be provided in a more equitable manner by working with clientele and their communities.

Doctorate

The Doctor of Education (EdD) program is an accelerated online degree designed for practicing educators.

This program develops scholar practitioners to take leadership roles where they can systematically address the challenges of today’s education landscape through the application of research-based practices to improve education outcomes at all levels—from PK-12 schools, community colleges, and universities.

As an EdD student, you can explore areas of emphasis like curriculum and instruction, instructional technology, multicultural leadership, organizational leadership, educational leadership, special education, and K–12 licensure.
