WSU Industry for the Advancement of Composite Materials Engineering Scholarship
The partnership between WSU and the composite industry includes the establishment of a scholarship for Composite Materials Engineering students. In early 2002, Joe Cameron and Larry Rupprecht of RTP Company, along with Dr. Parsi, arranged for an annual golf outing event through the local branch of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). The financial success of the event has continues through fantastic support from the local composite community and their supplier base. A minimum of five $1000 scholarships are planned to be awarded.
MPMA Foundation Scholarship
Each year, the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association's (MPMA) Education Foundation offers scholarships to help motivated students with an interest in manufacturing get the training they need to become successful in the field. This year, the Education Foundation will award scholarships in the amount of $2,000.
MN Society of Professional Engineers - Southwest Chapter 2020 Scholarship
The Southwest Chapter of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers is planning to offer a scholarship to a qualified engineering student this spring.
SWE Minnesota Section & Corporate Partnership Scholarships for Fall 2020
Eighteen tuition-based scholarships for women students in engineering and computer science schools in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota are being offered. Applicants are judged on the basis of their potential to succeed, communication skills, involvement and leadership, demonstrated work experience and academic success. ASM Minnesota Chapter Scholarship
Each year the Minnesota Chapter ASM offers a scholarship to full-time students that must have an intended or declared major in metallurgy or material science and engineering. The STEM graduate degree scholarship options helps women in science, technology, engineering and math prepare for STEM positions.
STEM Scholarships- University Wisconsin-Platteville (NSF)
Multiple scholarships for students pursuing online graduate degrees.
Scholarships will be awarded over a five year period beginning spring 2016 semester.
The WSU Foundation Engineering Scholarship is for new freshmen students with a minimum composite ACT score of 24 (SAT between 1160-1190). The total amount of the scholarship is $4,500 which is distributed over four years of study at WSU.
