WSU Graduate Commons Area.

Graduate Student Commons Area

The Graduate Student Commons area is located on the first floor of Gildemeister Hall in room 134 and serves as a quiet study area for graduate students who are currently enrolled. The Commons allows students to study quietly, hold group meetings, and have access to the Internet and campus printing. If you’ve had a long day and simply want to enjoy a quiet moment, the graduate Commons area offers a relaxing atmosphere for graduate students to unwind. Graduate students are able to call this Commons a place of their own within the Winona State campus. The Commons is accessible during or after regular campus hours. You will need to email the Graduate Office at to obtain the passcode required for admission into Gildemeister 134. Your student ID card needs to be used to gain access to the building when it is locked after campus hours. Being able to access the Commons after campus hours is ideal because it gives graduate students the ability to work on assignments on their own time. It is highly recommended that you do not share this passcode with other students or prop the door open when you are using the area. It is intended solely for the use of graduate students. If you have any questions or problems accessing or using the room, please use the email listed above to correspond with the Office of School of Graduate Studies.
