Grants & Sponsored Projects identifies grant makers, promotes grant writing, assists grant writers, and advises on and administers grants-related regulations.

All individuals associated with research involving human subjects (IRB) or animal subjects (IACUC) must use IRBNet to submit protocol packages. The first step is to enroll in IRBNet, where submission forms, guidelines, and checklists are available.

Individuals associated with research involving human subjects are required to complete the Human Subjects Education Module and quiz.

NSF supported undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are required to complete Responsible Conduct in Research Training (WSU uses the NCPRE’s module).

NIH supported individuals are required to review the WSU Financial Conflict of Interest Module (PDF) and the supplemental NIH FCOI Tutorial, then submit the certificate of completion to G&SP.
