Main Campus Housing

Do you love being surrounded by the energy of campus? Do you want to be within minutes to your classes, the dining hall, the library and all the fun athletic games, music and theatre events, student clubs and more?

If so, then a Main Campus residence hall is the place for you!

You’ll be in the middle of just about everything on campus and also in between the lake parks and downtown Winona. It’s a win-win-win.

Take your pick from the variety of housing options on Main Campus.

The Main Campus Residence Halls

Traditional Halls

If you are looking for the classic college experience for your first year, this is it.

Sheehan and The Quad (Conway, Richards, and Morey-Shepard) have traditional double rooms and single rooms.

Think: Private room for sleeping and storing your stuff with plenty of common areas for studying and hanging out.

Upper-level students and transfer students are also welcome to live in any of the traditional residence halls.

Suite-Style Halls

If traditional isn’t really your thing, perhaps a suite is more your style.

The suite-style rooms have more privacy while still space for community events and impromptu get-togethers throughout the hall.

Haake is open to just first year students, while Kirkland is reserved for returning students and transfer students with 24+ credits by the start of the term.

Veteran’s Center

Student-veterans can choose to live at our Veteran's Center, where they can connect with people who have had similar experiences and access specific resources.

This renovated house is located just across from Memorial and Somsen Halls, so it’s almost-but-not-quite off campus.
