Addictions Counseling Program
The Addictions Counseling graduate certificate program (ACCP) prepares graduates to become a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Minnesota.
Students admitted to the program typically begin the course sequence in the Fall semester. However, students can begin the program early during the summer session II with CE 555.

This graduate certificate program prepares students for the Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) comprehensive exam and to become a Board Certified Counselor.
This online program allows working adults the flexibility to balance school and work.
The only exception is the practicum, which takes place in person.
This graduate certificate is available to students who are admitted to the Counselor Education program, or to students who have already completed their bachelor’s degree without completing the master’s degree requirements.
