Business Administration

The Business Administration Program at WSU-R prepares students for careers in administration of all types of organizations in the private, non-profit and public sectors.

Human Resource Management

The Human Resource Management program at WSU-R prepares students for careers that are involved in all decisions and practices that relate to managing people in organizations.

Computer Science

The Computer Science Program at WSU-R is designed to prepare students to develop not only programming skills and technical knowledge, but also communication and critical thinking skills.

Teacher Education

The Education Program at WSU-R offers three unique teacher education programs in the Rochester area and one in Austin that are flexible enough to be either full-time or part-time programs.

Individualized Studies

The Individualized Studies Program at WSU-R allows students to pursue academic interests or professional goals within the framework of an academically sound Bachelor of Arts degree program.


The Nursing Program at WSU-R is for Associate Degree or diploma-prepared RNs who wish to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Social Work

The Social Work Program at WSU-R is a fully accredited program by the Council on Social Work Education.

Students enrolled in selected academic programs with WSU-Rochester or WSU-Winona may have the opportunity to take courses in the classroom, via video conferencing, online and/or hybrid settings.
