Safety & Security

Safety and security is a priority for Winona State University-Rochester. We have partnered with RCTC’s Office of Campus Safety to ensure the safety of all students, faculty and staff while on the RCTC campus.

Located in Coffman Hall 102, the RCTC office of Campus Safety maintains a visible security presence by patrolling campus roadways, walkways, parking areas and buildings. Campus Safety officers also:
  • investigate accidents and incidents
  • work to prevent crime
  • assist with vehicle issues such as jump starts and damage reports
  • enforce parking and traffic regulations
  • provide escort services to student & faculty vehicles parked on campus
  • Call campus safety: 507.280.5050 to request an escort to your car. Avoid isolated or dark areas and report any unsafe conditions to Campus Safety immediately.

Additionally, staff are trained to provide emergency response and disaster coordination.
