How to Apply

1

Gain Admission to Winona State University Graduate Studies

Each applicant must first apply to WSU School of Graduate Studies.

Admission to the WSU School of Graduate Studies is necessary to be admitted to the WSU MSW Program, but it does not guarantee admission to the WSU MSW Program.

2

Meet WSU MSW Program Requirements for Admission

All applicants should have an overall GPA ≥ 3.0 in their undergraduate education that resulted (or will result) in a bachelor’s degree.

Applicants with a lower GPA may be admitted on a provisional basis.

If you are applying for “Advanced Standing” status, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with a Social Work major from a CSWE-accredited, and your GPA from Social Work courses must be 3.4 or greater.
