WSU Student Activities & Leadership

Getting involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities outside of the classroom is extremely important to your success as a well-rounded student at WSU.

Involvement in a variety of activities can help you to:

  • Meet new people
  • Get further involved in your field of study
  • Develop new hobbies and life skills
  • Create the true college experience

WSU students have the opportunity to join more than 170 clubs and organizations in the following areas:

  • Academic clubs & organizations
  • Campus organizations
  • Communications
  • Cultural clubs
  • Faith-based clubs
  • Greek organizations
  • Honorary societies
  • Special interest clubs
  • Sports Clubs

If there isn’t a club that meets your interests, you can start your own through Student Senate!

In addition to clubs and organization involvement, students can attend or participate in a variety of other departmental activities:

The Warrior Entertainment Network (WEN) provides the majority of entertainment on campus with things such as comedians, concerts, local movie and bowling nights, and trips to Minnesota sporting events.

There is always something for everyone going on at Winona State University!
