Homecoming Parade

The Homecoming Parade on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10am is one of the biggest highlights of Homecoming Week and is a great opportunity to show your organization, department or residence hall's involvement within the WSU and Winona communities. The Homecoming Parade goes down Huff Street between Broadway and Mark Street. We ask that you incorporate the theme All Roads Lead Home into your parade entry to demonstrate creativity and energy. Remember: Your float is a direct representation of your image and what you are portraying about your group. Have fun with it, but be smart!

Note: Parade participants should read the Parade Line-Up and Participant Letter (PDF).

Regulations for Parade Entries

  • All entries must have their group name clearly visible.
  • There is no throwing of candy or items from the parade exhibit at the crowd, but people may hand things out.
