Field Experience
SOCW 350 Field Experience is a 120-hour internship designed to introduce students to all aspects of working with people in a human service agency.
During the course of the internship, students get meaningful, hands-on experiences working directly with individuals, groups, and staff at a variety of different types of settings.
Successful completion of this course is a pre-requisite to formal admission to the Social Work program.
Field Experience is completed during the semester, with students in placement for typically 8-10 hours per week.
