How do I log in for the first time?

When you log in to the Star Alert portal for the first time you will need to select the Sign Me Up! link next to the log in button.

Once you have clicked the Sign Me Up! link you will be asked to enter your first and last name, email address and to set a password. To ensure proper syncing of your information with the Star Alert system please enter your winona.edu email address.

What is the Identification Code?

When you are logging in for the first time you will be prompted to enter an "Identification Code." This code is your Star ID.

What are my log in credentials?

The WSU Star Alert system is separate from all other WSU systems and requires you to create a password specifically for Star Alert. After you have completed the registration process you will be able to log in with your WSU email and the password you created during the Sign Me Up! process.

How do I managing my contact information?

To manage your contact information sign-in to the Star Alert Portal. In the right hand column-second text box-there will be a link to edit contact information.

Once you click this link you will navigate to the My Contact Information page. On this page you will have the opportunity to add up to ten points of contact and indicate how you would like to receive notification. You can also set your language preference.
