This will allow time to make any corrections to your classes that are required for graduation. You&#8217;ll purchase the hood and gown to wear to the commencement ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Get Ready for the Commencement Ceremony<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Invite your friends and family to cheer you on at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/about\/news-events\/commencement\/\">Commencement Ceremony<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While there is no summer commencement ceremony, summer graduates are welcome to participate in either the Spring ceremony prior or the following Fall ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can indicate which (if any) ceremony you will participate in through the graduation application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To take part in the Commencement Ceremony, make sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/current-students\/#calendars\">register by midterm<\/a> of the semester you plan to participate. Students must complete all major requirements under both degrees, including separate minors if one is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multiple Majors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students completing two or more majors will be awarded a single degree based upon their primary major. By default, your primary major is the major with the greatest number of credits.<\/p>\n<p>Any additional majors are listed on the student&#8217;s transcript under the degree to be awarded.
