Whether you\u2019re considering attending WSU or a current student, here\u2019s how to get started with Access Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current students are encouraged to register with Access Services at any time when they are experiencing disability related barriers in the campus environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New and transfer students should register as soon as possible after they are accepted to WSU and registered for classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start receiving accommodations, here\u2019s how you register with Access Services: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Complete the Access Services Registration Form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Submit supporting documentation with registration form<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Schedule a\u00a0Welcome Meeting<\/a> with Access Services to identify disability-related barriers and appropriate access solutions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Supporting Documentation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Documentation is confidential information from an appropriately qualified health or other service professional who is knowledgeable about your condition. This professional might be a therapist, doctor, rehabilitation counselor, audiologist, nurse practitioner, or mobility specialist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Documentation can vary in length and format, but it should focus on the ways the condition currently affects you, especially in an academic setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Below are some examples of useful documentation: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
