Summer Term is a set rate. We do not offer the option to check in and out of campus housing several times throughout the summer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May Term housing is located in Sheehan Hall and provides short-term housing from May 8-June 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Review the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Summer-Housing-Agreement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2026 Summer Housing Agreement<\/a>.\u00a0(PDF)<\/p>\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer Term 2026 and May Term 2026 housing applications are due by April 15. Apply online through your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eservices.minnstate.edu\/esession\/authentication.do?campusId=074&amp;postAuthUrl=http%3A%2F%2Feservices.minnstate.edu%2Fregistration%2Fsecure%2Fsearch%2Fbasic.html%3Fcampusid%3D074&amp;_ga=2.172532708.658862142.1684851913-1283476064.1684336861\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Housing Portal<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A $25 non-refundable application fee will be charged to your student account upon completion of the summer housing app before April 15.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A $50 non-refundable application fee will be charged for an application completed after April 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-2\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-content\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>You must live in any Winona State residence hall during Spring 2026 to be eligible for May Term housing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>You must be enrolled for Summer 2026 and\/or Fall 2026 to be eligible for Summer Term housing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2026 Rates &amp; Payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All rates for May Term 2026 and Summer Term 2026 are charged as full term. The May housing term is May 8-June 1. There will be limited food options on campus for cash purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dineoncampus.com\/winona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dining Services website<\/a>&nbsp;for up-to-date information on locations, hours, and operation.<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Room &amp; Roommate Assignments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will be given a room assignment based on their submitted application for either May Term or Summer Term and the designated residence halls that will be used for those specific terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-2\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-content\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Sheehan Hall is designated for May Term housing. All students will be assigned to a super single room for the term.<\/p>\n<p>A super single is a traditional double room converted to a single occupancy room.<\/p>\n<p>Students who do not currently live in Sheehan Hall for Spring 2026 will need to move to Sheehan for May Term during the check-in times.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>East Lake &#8211; Building D is designated for Summer Term housing.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be assigned to a single room within a 2- or 4-bedroom apartment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>All assignments will be made at the sole discretion of the University. When possible, they will be in accordance with the preference that the student requests. No specific assignment based on the student&#8217;s request is guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If at any point there is an open space in the suite or apartment, that space could be assigned at any time to another student needing housing for the summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Checking In &amp; Checking Out<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can check in at the front desk of their assigned residence hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-2\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-content\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">May Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Check-in for May Term housing will be May 10 from 11am-1pm at the Sheehan Hall front desk. Students can remain in their current room until the designated check-in time on May 10.<\/p>\n<p>May Term housing ends June 1. Students will need to schedule a check-out appointment and check out of their room no later than 3pm on June 1.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Summer Term Housing<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Check-in for Summer Term housing will be May 6-9 by appointment at the front desk of East Lake Apartments &#8211; Building C.<\/p>\n<p>We will make every effort for students to stay in their current room until they can move into their Summer Term room assignment. Some students may have to move twice if facilities projects dictate the move.<\/p>\n<p>Check-out for Summer Term will be Aug. 3-5. A check-out appointment will need to be scheduled on the student&#8217;s Housing Portal.<\/p>\n<p>Students who are not living on campus for Fall 2026 must be checked out by 3pm on Aug. 5.
