Or they can focus the interview on one specific competency area, such as leadership abilities or cultural competence.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll get written and verbal feedback on your interview performance and tips for improving.<\/p>\n<p>We offer mock interviews on Mondays, and you can sign up for multiple sessions throughout the semester.<\/p>\n<p>Learn how to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JLURNbtk9k0&amp;feature=youtu.be\">sign up for Mock Interviews<\/a> in Handshake.<\/p>\n<p>You can also call the Warrior Success Center at 507.457.5878 to schedule a mock interview.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Interview with Employers<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Career Services hosts employers to conduct job interviews in the Warrior Success Center throughout the academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/winona.joinhandshake.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Handshake<\/a> account. In the Interviews drop-down menu, select \u201cInterviews\u201d to see all upcoming interview schedules.<\/p>\n<p>To sign up for an interview, you&#8217;ll need to have your resume and any other required documents uploaded prior to applying for the position.<\/p>\n<p>After applying, the employer will decide if you&#8217;ll be accepted for an interview and will notify you via    <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Interview Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dress professionally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research the organization in advance and have questions ready to ask the employer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn off your cell phone before entering the building<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrive at the interview site 10-15 minutes early<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be polite to the receptionist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid verbal fillers such as &#8220;um,&#8221; &#8220;ah,&#8221; or &#8220;like&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use gestures that enhance your verbal message<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sit tall and lean forward slightly to show interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be detailed, yet concise with your responses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the interview, send a thank-you letter within 24 hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When answering questions, use real life examples to back up your responses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a>Review&nbsp;<\/a><a
