You can receive COVID-19 vaccines at Health Services.<\/p>\n<p>Certain academic programs may have further immunization requirements, so check with the academic department.<\/p>\n<p>It is best to come to college <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/wellness\/health-services\/clinic-services\/immunizations\/\">fully immunized<\/a>, and you can schedule an appointment to get any vaccines you might be missing.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unsure of your immunizations, check with your health care provider.<\/p>\n<p>Bring your immunization records with you to college if you are from out of state.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Prescriptions<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>If you take prescription medication, bring a supply of medication or otherwise arrange for your prescription renewals.<\/p>\n<p>You may be able to transfer prescriptions from your home pharmacy to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/wellness\/health-services\/local-pharmacy-services\/\">local pharmacy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to keep all medications in original containers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Health Insurance <\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>Students need to have their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/wellness\/health-services\/costs-insurance-billing\/\">own medical insurance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Check with your insurance provider to see if we are in-network or if we can become in-network. That way you can keep the costs of medical care low while in college.<\/p>\n<p>Call the customer service number on the back of your card to see what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure to bring your health insurance card or a photocopy of the front and back with you to college.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" your medical records from your home healthcare provider with Health Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule an introductory visit with a WSU provider early in your first term&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/wellness\/health-services\/clinic-services\/immunizations\/#requirements\">immunization requirements<\/a>, you must contact Health Services to set up an appointment to receive the necessary vaccination(s).<\/p>\n<p>After you have received the vaccination, inform the nurse or receptionist that you need a hold removed from your student account.<\/p>\n
