{"id":908,"date":"2025-07-03T10:46:30","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T15:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/?page_id=908"},"modified":"2025-07-03T10:46:31","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T15:46:31","slug":"cross-cultural-scholarship-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/support\/international-services\/cross-cultural-scholarship-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross-Cultural Scholarship Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-text-intro wp-block-paragraph\">The Cross-Cultural Scholarship Program (CCSP) brings WSU international students, WSU faculty, Winona-area teachers and community organizations together to share cultures and ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International students are automatically awarded the Cross-Cultural Scholarship upon admission. To remain eligible for the scholarship, students must complete projects each semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We regularly collaborate with the Winona and WSU campus communities for cross-cultural learning.&nbsp;To learn more about the program, email <a href=\"mailto:ccop@winona.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ccop@winona.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                            <div class=\"h3\">Cross-Cultural Scholarship Program Projects<\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet CCSP requirements, each student complete 1 Cultural Sharing project and 1 Cultural Learning project in the fall and spring semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New students are also required to attend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/support\/international-services\/next-steps-after-admission\/#niso\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/student-life\/support\/international-services\/next-steps-after-admission\/#niso\">New International Student Orientation<\/a> and WSU Welcome Week and complete the Orientation course (OR100).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No projects are required over the summer or winter break, or during the semester of planned graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students may submit their own ideas for projects to qualify for the CCSP.
