Ramaley Research Celebration
The Ramaley Research Celebration is going virtual this year.
Every spring semester Winona State University recognizes the efforts of our amazing student scholars and their faculty mentors by inviting these students to present at the Ramaley Research Celebration.
All students are invited to submit an abstract to present at the 15th Annual Ramaley Research Celebration which will be held virtually on April 14th from 1-4 pm. Abstract submissions are due by midnight on March 22, 2021. Presenters will be sharing their work virtually via a live zoom presentation and/or as a pre-recorded oral presentation to be viewed by attendees. More information about presentation options will be provided soon.
The Ramaley Celebration is named for Judith Ramaley, the 14th president of Winona State University. Dr. Ramaley continued to teach during her tenure as president and she was an ardent supporter of undergraduate research as an integral part of the educational experience at WSU.
Please note that for our purposes “research” is very broadly defined as “an inquiry or investigation that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline” as defined per the Council on Undergraduate Research. Therefore, we welcome the participation of students and faculty from all WSU Colleges and Departments.
