Community Resources
The Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies program is run by a faculty director in consultation with an advisory board consisting of faculty, staff and students. Students are encouraged to get involved in this process and to take leadership roles in developing special programs for campus and community groups.
A variety of feminist and LGBTQ+ organizations (such as FORGE, Full Spectrum and RE-Initiative Peer Advocate Club) and programs in the area provide opportunities for activism.
The Women's Studies Program is a nucleus on campus for events and activities that focus on women and gender issues.
