Chair K. Herold will attend a meeting of the IFO Curriculum Committee. They will discuss policy, particularly involving students in decision-making processes.

A. Volunteer to serve as Liberal Arts Representative - Alex Yard was elected to serve on this committee.

B. Progress report from Chair Kerry Williams

The committee has made progress. Developing Critical Analysis course criteria is proposing problems - will meet next week to resolve.

Time line? None established. Course area criteria are written. Guidelines of University Studies procedures need to be established. Then, departments will need to submit courses for approval. Next Fall (2000) is probably is out of the question.
