VII. Course & Program Proposal Subcommittee report, Fred Lee - did not meet on 10/27/04.
Fred Lee reported on the Online Education Program. There will be a meeting this Friday 11/5/04, Stark 105. to discuss this topic.

1.  Assessment area committees - member selection is proceeding.
2. Course substitution requests
1. Crystal Ann Kerska, STAT 115 Lab in Statistics (1 SH) from WSU for Arts & Sciences Core - Natural Science (lab only). USS recommends disapproval. Motion passes to support USS disapproval.
2. Nicole Austing, PER 116 Jazz I, PER 118 Jazz II, and PER 228 Modern Dance (4 SH total) from WSU for Arts & Sciences Core - Fine & Performing Arts. USS recommends approval. Motion passes to support USS approval.

IX. Notifications
    A. Economics & Finance - B. A. Major - Finance. Under Statistics (3 SH), substitute STAT 110 Fundamentals of Statistics (3) with BUSA 220 Business Statistics (3) as a choice of statistics courses. STAT 210 Statistics (3) remains as listed. [Note: This will bring the program in agreement with the 2004-2006 catalog which was printed incorrectly. The department feels that making this change will create less confusion for students.]

X. Old Business
    A. A2C2 chairperson and voting - Policy from 10/20/04 was approved by senate.
    B. Call for Nominations of Chair-Elect (Nomination period remained open from 10/20 meeting).
        Chair asked for other nominations from the floor.
            Ann Rethlefsen, Education - nominated on 10/20.
        m/s Miller/Elcombe to close A2C2 chair-elect nominations. Motion passed.

XI. New Business
A. Election of Chair-Elect
    Election was held.  Professor Rethlefsen was elected as A2C2 chair-elect.
