I. Call
to order. Meeting was called to order
at 3:35 pm by Charla Miertschin, chair.
II. Adoption of agenda. Two items were added to the agenda. Under V.
Course substitutions, Stuart Shaw’s request to reconsider Allan Campbell’s PSYC
231 substitution approval from October 17, 2001 was added. Under X. New business, Honor Council’s request to approve the dropping of the
honor’s program was added.
III.
Approval of minutes of October 17, 2001. M/S Boseker/Snyder to approve.
At request of Dan Kaufman, delete the word “courses” from item VII. from
the minutes of 10/17/2001. Motion
carried.

Muras - SPAN 311 Intermediate Spanish (4 QH) from WSU for Different
Cultures. M/S Boseker/Thompson to
approve. M/S Summa/Hokanson to table. Motion Carried.
B. Stuart
Shaw requested the committee reconsider Allan Campbell’s Courses substitution
from 10/17/01. M/S Smith/Summa to
rescind approval. Motion failed. M/S
Summa/Reidy to never allow a substitution of non-math department courses for
basic skills math in the gen ed. program again. Motion failed.
