MAIN STAGE
The Main Stage Theatre is the primary performance venue for the Department of Theatre & Dance and large ensembles of the Department of Music, where each year 4-5 plays, dance performances, and over 20 music concerts are presented. The Main Stage is also a venue of the Frozen River Film Festival, held each February, and is the primary performance space of the Great River Shakespeare Festival which has been in residence each summer since 2004.

DOROTHY B. MAGNUS OPEN STAGE THEATRE

Stage Area: 2,400 sq. ft.

This “black box” theatre permits seating for up to 150 patrons and hosts numerous student and faculty-directed dramatic and musical performances. Creative seating configurations allow this space to be used for both innovative and traditional staging.

RECITAL HALL

Stage Area: 430 sq. ft. (40' x 18.5')
Location: Directions
The Performing Arts Center's Recital Hall is an intimate space that allows for rehearsals, solo performances, and small ensembles by both faculty and students. The Recital Hall also hosts special lecture series speakers and visiting artists.
