About Inclusion & Diversity

As part of our mission we are committed to cultural diversity and supports the following initiatives: 

• Promote understanding of the cultural and ethnic heritages of African, Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and other diverse groups at WSU through co-curricular programming of events and activities.
• Encourage the retention and success of historically underrepresented and under-served students (i.e., diverse students, students of color and first-generation college students).
• Enhance curriculum development through the inclusion of multicultural perspectives by providing resources for intercultural campus and community initiatives.
