Bryant K. Smith Bio

He “helps good people become great and great people become memorable!” For the past two decades Bryant K. Smith has been at the forefront of assisting business, athletic, and educational institutions train, inspire, and develop their employees, athletes, and students into potentially world altering people. Bryant is a financial member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity, incorporated. He is a founding board member of the Palmetto Team Youth Association, the founder and creator of "Life Station" male development workshop and "The Remix Hip Hop Leadership Institute". He is a distinguished faculty member for the "Student African-American Brotherhood (SAAB)", and the "Am I My Brothers Keeper?" annual conferences and is recognized across the country as a leader in diversity training, student success and male development and empowerment.

As an author Bryant has produced books on a variety of topics including a social commentary on race relations in the United States entitled Black Not Blind, a book about the power of human potential entitled Five, four books on male development including his newest release Manhood The Missing Manuals, Assembly Instructions. Known for his ability to "meet his clients and students where they are and guide them to where they need to be" Bryant uses his life motto "difficult does not equal impossible" as a reminder that success is only one more attempt away. The Ideal Man Institute © Bryant K. Smith 2008 "If you could design and build the ideal man, what would he look like?"
That question is the basis for the newest workshop by award winning workshop creator and facilitator Bryant K. Smith. "The Ideal Man Institute" will help participants examine manhood in several phases. They will be challenged to critically dialogue about the history and image of men, the personal and professional development of men, and the obstacles, and opportunities that exist for men. This highly interactive and thoroughly engaging workshop will also provide participants with methods for self-reflection and evaluation, and improvement of their understanding of and appreciation for what it means to be a man.

Manhood 101 © Bryant K. Smith 2006 “What does it take to be a man?”
This developmental workshop presents the seven core values every man needs. It answers the seven core questions that everyman faces throughout life, and provides the 10 things that a man must have that compliment their core values. Manhood 101 also expands the concept of manhood into the practice of brotherhood. This session is not only for men and about men it is for anyone who works with, loves, or is seeking to understand and help men develop into responsible, dynamic, loving, mature whole beings. Manhood and brotherhood will be displayed, defined, and yes tested throughout the session.

Female Institute Programming
