New Student Registration, June 16-20, 2008
New First Year Students will receive information about New Student Registration, which will take place during the week of June 16-20, 2008. All incoming students and their parents should plan to participate in this program and all of the associated events!
2008 New Student Registration Schedule
Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet university administrators, faculty, and staff; participate in group sessions and workshops; ask questions; meet other students and parents, and dine in the student cafeteria. Students will receive their laptop computers and meet individually with a faculty advisor to register for fall semester classes.
Incoming students will be placed in their initial English or math class based on their ACT sub scores. Students not satisfied with their placement should plan to take the Accuplacer exams offered as an optional part of the Registration Program. Placement guidelines are listed on the link below. More information on math and English placement will be presented in group advising sessions prior to the testing time.
A $80 per student registration fee will be charged on your fall tuition bill. Housing in the residence halls is also available for both students and parents for a nominal fee.
Parking is available in any of the lots on campus with the exception of the Admissions Lot at Eighth and Johnson Streets and the parking meters.
We are looking forward to meeting you in June at New Student Registration!
