5 groups of students + fundraising for charity + entrepreneurial spirit + 50 bucks?
A WIN - WIN
Dr. Kathy Ready challenged her MGMT 385 Social Entrepreneurship class to raise as much money as they could for charity. Each group of students were given $50.00 to invest in a project to raise money for their specific charity.
Together they raised $1,255.88, almost five times of what they started with.

Business professor, Kathryn J. Ready was honored at the 3rd Annual Presidential Engaged Partnership Celebration
on April 18th, 2011.Based upon information provided by faculty and staff, the Center for Teaching and Scholarship
identified over 300 community partners that work with Winona State students regularly. President Judith Ramaley and
the Engaged Teaching and Scholarship Committee celebrated these important partnerships by honoring three
students, faculty, and community partners.
