The Composite Materials Engineering (CME) Program at Winona
State University operates the Composite Materials Technology Center (COMTEC)
to foster interaction with industry and enhance engineering education.
COMTEC is staffed by engineering students who work under
the direction of CME Program faculty and staff.
Since its beginning in 1987, COMTEC has successfully undertaken
hundreds of projects for many local companies and other well-known companies
both in and out of the composites industry. Over the last few years some
