Archives Policies and Procedures
There are many different types of archives materials: yearbooks; photographs; personnel files; dorm contracts; etc. Many contain personal information are not available for public use. Most of the rest may not leave the library. Please speak with Russ Dennison about your intended use.

Archives Collections
- Room 006
Room 006 in the Library's basement contains restricted use materials:
- Search committee records
- Personnel files
- Congressional records
- Dormatory Contracts
- Various departmental and office records
- Minnesota Reflections
The Archives department has deposited digital copies of some WSU photographs into the searchable database of the Minnesota Reflections project run by the Minnesota Digital Library at http://reflections.mndigital.org/.
- Room 206 Rare Books
Besides rare books, Room 206 has several types of Archives materials including:
- Yearbooks
WSU Yearbooks from 1910 to 1972 (when yearbooks stopped being made) are available to view.
- Winonan (Student Newspaper)
The Winonan from 1922 to current is available for viewing. Previous years are bound.
- Master's Thesis and Graduate Papers
Most thesis and graduate papers written by WSU graduate students are available for viewing. They are also cataloged and can be located by using the Library's online catalog.
- Photographs
14 books for photographs are available for viewing. A small card catalog provides some access to the various photos. Several hundred of these photos are in the Minnesota Reflections web site.
