Creative Writing Club:
I am the Faculty Advisor to the Creative Writing Student Club. We meet weekly at Mugby Junction on Huff Street to workshop student's original works of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction, as well as discuss writing techniques and methods, professional (already published) work, films, art, publishing, and graduate school. The CWC also hosts several Open Mic Nights in local establishments throughout the year. The club also has a group page on Facebook.
Zumbro River Press:
I am the founding director and editor of Zumbro River Press, which is a
fine literary letterpress publisher that publishes limited
edition books of poetry. I began publishing books under this imprint in the Spring of 2000 in La Crosse, WI.
